Apple didn’t announce its new iPhone 12 at the company’s September event. But, we are still expecting to see the new iPhone series at an event either in late September or in October 2020. The 15th September event of Apple was focused on a new iPad Air 4, Apple Watch 6, and Apple Watch SE. the company also presented Apple One subscription services and the launch of a new service, Apple Fitness+. Rumors have indicated the release date for iOS 14, watchOS 7, iPadOS 14, and tvOS 14. These are coming to existing devices on 16th September. Rumors also point to the iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. We are expecting major upgrades from Apple including the first 5G iPhone.
Point to be noted that rumors and leaks show the iPhone 12 Pro models will have a LiDAR scanner, similar to the iPad Pro 2020. The iPhone 12 release might take place at some stage in October because the COVID-19 epidemic has reportedly knocked Apple off of its normal clockwork schedule. The September event of the company was dedicated to the Apple Watch 6, new iPad Air 4, and some other products. The latest release date from a leaker (a Japanese Apple-focused site, Macotakara), points to an announcement in the 2nd half of October. A leaker has said that the iPhone 12 range will be announced on 13th October 2020. Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max would apparently then open on the same week.

Some rumors have suggested the iPhone 12 range won’t be announced until late October with the 4G models, and the iPhone 12 5G models won’t go on sale until November. It is important that the iPhone 11 started at $699, the iPhone 11 Pro at $999, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max started at $1,099. Rumors have suggested the iPhone 12 4G with 128GB will start at $549. The iPhone 12 5G with 128GB will start at $649 and 258GB at $749. The iPhone 12 Max 5G with 128GB will be available at $749 and 256GB at $849. The iPhone 12 Pro with 128GB at $999, 256GB at 1,099, and 512GB at $1,299. The iPhone 12 Pro Max with 128GB will start at $1,099, 256GB at $1,199, and 512GB at $1,399.
