Microsoft is ready to launch a new Surface Laptop Go, the Surface Pro X updates, and some new branded accessories. The Surface Laptop Go is 2 in one, smaller, and more affordable options for the range including an edge-to-edge screen. The Surface Pro X updates include updates for apps, enhanced performance, and a platinum finish. The Surface Laptop Go comes with a 12.4” PixelSense touchscreen display, large precision trackpad, and a full-size keyboard with 1.3mm key travel. The device offers 3 color options, including Ice Blue, Sandstone, and Platinum. Some specific models have a Fingerprint Power Button with One Touch sign-in through Windows Hello. The expected starting price for Surface Laptop Go is at US$759 / AU$999.
Surface Go laptop uses Intel’s 10th generation i5 Quad-Core processor with up to 16GB RAM, 256GB storage, and up to 13 hours of battery life plus Fast Charging. A built-in 720p HD camera and Studio Mics are paired with Omnisonic Speakers and Dolby Audio surround. External connections include USB A and USB C ports, an audio jack, and the Surface connector. The Surface Pro X updated configuration includes Microsoft’s custom processor (Microsoft SQ 2 processor) with 3 new color options for the keyboard including Platinum, Ice Blue, and Poppy Red. Microsoft teams have optimized a new version for Windows on ARM. Visual Studio Code has also been updated to run natively.
App Assure with Fast Track ensures enterprise apps can work with Windows 10 and Microsoft 365 Apps on ARM64 devices. The Surface Pro X now gets up to 15 hours of battery life across both configurations and includes Gigabit LTE connectivity, and available at US$1,849 / AU$2,499. New accessories include Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard with Bluetooth switching between 3 devices, 2-year battery life, 2 color options. It is available at US$86 / AU$120. Microsoft Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse is wireless with soft thumb rest in several colors. It has a light and durable design, 2 customizable buttons, and available at US$59 / AU$19. Microsoft Modern Mobile Mouse is lightweight and portable. It is now available at US$39 / AU$49 in the Sandstone color.
