Fujifilm to launch GFX 50S MK II and X-T30 II Cameras in SeptemberFujifilm launched its latest mirrorless camera six months ago. The company is expected to announce an extraordinary update in a couple of weeks. The latest rumors have suggested that Fujifilm will present its 2 new advanced cameras during the first week of September. The most reliable Fuji rumors have confirmed2 new model mirrorless cameras next month. The new announcement will include a Fujifilm X-T30 II (upgrade of Fujifilm X-T30) and a medium format Fujifilm GFX 50S MK II. Another rumor claimed the cameras are expected to join the arrival of a Fujinon XF23mm f/1.4 MKII lens. The prime lens will apparently come with weather sealing. It will be the ideal companion for the X-T30 II to make sense for it to make its debut as expected at a Fujifilm X Summit.

However, the ‘Mark II’ name suggests a fairly incremental upgrade on the original Fujifilm X-T30, which arrived back in February 2019. Various rumors have indicated that the X-T30 MK II will have similar specs to the more recent Fujifilm X-E4. It combines the company’s latest 26.1MP X-Trans APS-C sensor and X-Processor 4 to deliver the same autofocus performance as the Fujifilm X-S10 and the ability to shoot 4K/30p video. The Fujifilm GFX 50S MK II is a medium format camera and is expected a cross between the specs of the original Fujifilm GFX50S and the body of the more recent Fujifilm GFX100S. It makes the camera more ideal for landscape shooters and studio work. Fuji Rumors indicated in a post in June that the GFX 50S MK II is still considered the most affordable GFX series camera.

Fuji Rumors also pointed out the expected price of the GFX 50S MK II at around $3,999. Both of Fujifilm’s rumored cameras are ‘Mark II’ models and considered incremental updates instead of genuine successors. The X-T30 MK II rumors have likely put that idea to bed for now, as IBIS would be a serious upgrade. The GFX 50 S MK II rumors have suggested that it could be a significant upgrade that presents a new concept to the GFX series: the first sub-$4,000 medium format camera in its lineup. The price is considered the main GFX barrier to entry for most people. The rumored X-T30 II and GFX 50S MK II could still deliver some compelling new photographic treats for people to play with next month.
