OnePlus Watch launched alongside the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 ProOnePlus Watch has now launched alongside the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. It is the first smartwatch from the company and uses a separate operating system, but doesn’t run on Wear OS. The OnePlus Watch was announced on 23rd March at the OnePlus 9 launch event. It will go on sale on 14th April in the United States and 26th April 2021 in the UK. The OnePlus Watch will retail at $159. Point to be noted that the OnePlus Watch is cheaper than the recent Oppo Watch, which starts at around $300. OnePlus and Oppo have the same parent company and their phones often have common things. The OnePlus Watch is made of stainless steel and considered a circular smartwatch, so OnePlus is eschewing the squircle design of Fitbit, Apple, and Oppo.

The bands of the OnePlus Watch are made of a breathable and strong material called fluoroelastomer. The Watch has 2 crowns, one of which is for the app menu and the other presumably brings up another shortcut. The smartwatch case is 46.4 × 46.4 ×10.9mm and it weighs 76g including the strap. It makes the OnePlus Watch sizable compared to its competitors. The Watch will be available in 2 main colors including Moonlight Silver and Midnight Black. You can also get a limited-edition version of the OnePlus Watch made of cobalt with vegan leather straps and a sapphire glass screen. Both versions are IP68 protected against water and dust. The OnePlus Watch has a 1.39-inch 454 x 454 AMOLED screen, with 326 pixels per inch, and provides a bright screen. The OnePlus Watch features 50 watch face designs to choose from with the possibility that the company could release more down the line.

The OnePlus Watch comes with over 110 fitness workouts built-in, and the sports on offer here include running, swimming, dancing, and much more. The OnePlus Watch can also auto-detect some workouts, so if you start running or jogging the watch will automatically start tracking it. There’s also sleep tracking, including some other tracking features like a heart rate monitor, built-in GPS, blood oxygen scanning, and more. The OnePlus Watch can also recognize if you’ve fallen asleep while binge-watching your favorite shows. It also has 4GB of storage and also compatible with the OnePlus Buds. The OnePlus Watch also has a speaker, a microphone, and Bluetooth 5.0. The OnePlus Watch can supposedly last for up to 2 weeks on a single charge of its 402mAh battery, and up to 5 days when using sleep blood oxygen monitoring, or for up to 25 hours of continuous exercise with GPS.
