The Redmi Note 9 series currently offers 5 models and 3 of them are the latest. There are multiple reports of the Redmi Note 10 series but the Xiaomi subordinate isn’t done yet with the Redmi Note 9 series. A Chinese leaker, Digital Chat Station has indicated that the Redmi Note 9 series will be getting 3 new versions in November 2020. The new devices will be announced around 15th November. One of them will come with the 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor announced in September 2020. Point to be noted that the Chinese Communications Commission has certified 2 Redmi phones with model numbers M2007J22C with 22.5W fast charging and M2007J17C with 33W fast charging. Moreover, both new models have 5G support.
The ITHome has indicated that there is one with the faster charging supposedly a Pro model. The Chinese tech blog post also said the new smartphone will be the first Snapdragon 750G phone in China. It is noteworthy that the current Redmi Note 9 lineup didn’t launch in China. Tech experts believe these new versions may eventually get a global release but supposedly with a different name. Xiaomi also planning for a foldable and roll-able phone, but it is still a concept. The official announcement from the Chinese OEM would confirm the news. There were several images circulating showing Xiaomi foldable smartphone. Last year’s foldable phone demo video was real and it was followed by a set of foldable phone providers showing an outward folding display.
A new hint appeared on an MIUI 12 code and only available on a few Xiaomi smartphones such as the POCO X3, and some Mi and Redmi devices. Our reliable source said there are some other sets of codes that affect monitoring the display and identifying changes to the folding state. The MIUI could already be based on Android 11. The new foldable phone could come with a 108MP primary camera and run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. A leak has described it will use an Ultra-thin Glass or a Solid Cover Display. There might be a concept of a rotating camera or a Penta camera system. Our source has confirmed that people will get a new Xiaomi foldable and roll-able phone very soon.
