Oppo is one of the major Chinese phone companies also starting picking more attention in the west. The top offering from the Find X line and the Find X2 devices in 2020 were some of the best phones of the year. The company is reportedly looking to present its new range of smartphone devices, the Oppo Find X3 series. The new series is expected to come on New Year Eve. The company released the Oppo Find X2 series at the beginning of 2020. Oppo offered the Standard Find X2 and Find X2 Pro, and later released the Find X2 Lite and Find X2 Neo. Point to be noted that the company is working on a Snapdragon 870 chipset phone and it could be the Find X3.
The company offered the Find X2 Pro at $530 and the Find X2 Lite at $1,450. The Oppo Find X2 Pro had a periscope zoom lens first seen in the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom which facilitated the phone’s 5x optical, 10x hybrid, and 60x digital zoom. Oppo is also working on an improved version of this lens to bring further optical zoom and better aperture. The company has indicated 125W fast-charging and it would power up a phone with a 4,000mAh battery in less than 25 minutes. Oppo showed off 65W wireless charging which matches its current wired speeds. The company also recently patented a Li-Fi connected phone which uses light to create super high-speed connection speeds.
It is noteworthy that the Oppo Find X2 Pro is much similar to the OnePlus 8 Pro in some ways. The Pro model should come out with a slightly lower price if Oppo wants its Find X3 devices to be really competitive with its rivals. Experts believe the company will repeat something it did in the Find X2 series by offering a more affordable 5G smartphone in the form of the Find X2 Lite. The Find X2 series was designed to launch at MWC 2020, but the event was canceled due to widespread Covid-19. It is important that MWC 2021 has been announced for June and the company will supposedly launch the Find X3 series at the event.
