Yoga 9 series from Lenovo is always a pleasure. It was formerly known as the Yoga 900 series and then the Yoga C900 series. It is the flagship of the company’s consumer offerings and it has some solid, well-thought-out advanced features. One of those attractive features is the Dolby Atmos rotating soundbar. You have got a powerful sound firing in your direction no matter what orientation you’re using the PC. Lenovo Yoga 9 series 15-inch model is the more powerful one. There’s also a 14-inch variant that has your standard 15W processors and integrated graphics. The 15-inch one is for another level of performance though.
The new device comes with 10th-generation Intel processors in the 45W variety. It has dedicated graphics in the form of an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti with 4GB GDDR6. Lenovo used CPU Intel Core i9-10980HK 12 and Intel Core i7-10750H 21 for both devices. The Yoga 9i series has 15.6”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS and 15.6”, 4K UHD (3840 x 2160), IPS displays. The storage is HDD/SSD up to 2000GB SSD with RAM up to 16GB. It runs OSWindows 10 Home and Coming in at 4.41 pounds. The series is pretty light for a 15-inch convertible with such power, and it still has a 69Whr battery.
Another feature that I absolutely love is the Pen garage. It’s something that debuted on ThinkPad convertibles and eventually made its way to the consumer brand. It’s a nice and easy way to always have a pen with you and charge. The dimensions are 355.5 x 238.5 x 19.7 mm (14.00″ x 9.39″ x 0.78″). It has 2 USB Type-A (5 GBPS) ports and 2 USB Type C (10 GBPS) ports. The device also features a Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5 Combo audio jack, and dual microphone. The Yoga 9i also features an HD webcam and Rotating Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos speakers. Lenovo fans can now get more details for the new Yoga 9i series from the official website of the company.
