Toyota will present its RAV4 Prime Plug-in Hybrid and you can buy this summer at an estimated price starting at $38,100. But, you have to pay an extra amount of $1,120 for the company’s processing, handling, and delivery. Toyota RAV4 Prime will offer customers an even more electrified solution. The new vehicle will officially become the 2nd fastest vehicle in the auto manufacturer’s lineup. Point to be noted that only the Toyota Supra can best it with its 4.1-second rating. The company launched the RAV4 Prime last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show and the automaker announced that Toyota Prime plug-in hybrid has up to 302 horsepower and can go from zero to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds.
The company said the vehicle can drive up to 42 miles on battery alone on a single charge and it provides vehicle the greatest EV range out of all the PHEV SUVs available in the market. Toyota RAV4 Prime will come in two versions, Prime SE and Prime XSE. The basic SE grade will set you back $38,100. The more premium XSE grade will cost you $41,425, a delivery fee not included. The latter has a 2-tone exterior paint scheme, including a Supersonic Red version. The vehicle has 19-inch 2-tone alloy wheels, a moon-roof, and a Qi-wireless phone charger. Toyota is well-equipped to produce an effective new Power-train for the RAV4 with the experience of developing two generations of its Previous Plug-in Hybrid model.
The RAV4 Prime will also be equipped with a 9-inch touch-screen display with the Audio Plus system of Toyota. Moreover, the SE grade will have an 8-inch touch-screen entertainment console and features the latest hybrid-electric vehicle technology of Toyota. The company has improved power and better driving dynamics. Both versions have a genuine pure electric EV driving capability. The vehicle has the capability to deliver acceleration from rest to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds. It offers the best class CO2 emissions and fuel economy. The new RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid is constructed on the GA-K platform of Toyota, with more dynamic benefits. Prim RAV4 is equipped as standard with the Toyota’s AWD-i intelligent electric all-wheel-drive system.
