PlayStation Europe posted an official tweet and said the PS5 is getting a surprise live stream on 18th March 2020. It also promised a deeper look at the specs and capabilities of the incoming next-gen PlayStation. The lead system architect for Sony PS5, Mark Cerny will speak in the live stream. It will offer important details about PS5’s system architecture and how it will shape the future of games. So, you will receive a better understanding of what’s going on in the PS5. Microsoft’s continued sprinkle-feed of specs information for the Xbox Series X console. It is noteworthy that the Xbox Series X has been officially announced, but the PS5 is yet to announce at 4pm GMT on Wednesday in a live stream.

The live stream will be available to watch on the PlayStation Blog. It is a place for game announcements and stories about PlayStation-related news. The tweet also confirmed the console will be powered by a third-generation AMD Ryzen CPU with eight cores built on the company’s 7nm Zen 2 micro-architecture. It will have a custom GPU, built on AMD’s Radeon Navi family to support ray-tracing, and 8K graphics support. The PS5 will be shipped with an SSD and be backwards compatible with both PS4 software and the current PSVR headset. Point to be noted that Sony confirmed the name of console after 6-months and called the PlayStation 5.
