  • BMW to Launch 5 New & Updated Versions in January 2023

Last weekend, BMW conducted the 1st edition of its Joytown festival at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, India. The automaker also launched 3 new BMW versions at the event. These new versions include the updated electrified M340i, the new XM performance SUV, the S1000RR Superbike, and 5 other cars.

However, the new SUVs are scheduled to launch in the first week of January 2023. The other 5 BMW cars are scheduled to launch at the Joytown events in Mumbai and Bengaluru. The automaker selected this methodology probably as it isn’t present at the imminent Auto Expo. BMW India also described that this is an approach to attract a more outstretched audience.

Joytown Festival Events of BMW

The BMW Joytown festival will offer the best of the company’s Mini and BMW Motorrad brands in one large fairground. This is a funfair brand concentration experience with a mixture of cars, bikes, food trucks, and music. Moreover, BMW drivers will also perform stunts with a must-do passenger seat cruise experience in the M cars of BMW.

Meanwhile, you can join the Joytown festival in Mumbai at the Bandra Kurla Complex on January 7 & 8, 2023. Another Joytown event is also scheduled in Bengaluru at Manpho Convention Center on January 28 & 29, 2023. The upcoming events will offer more opportunities to experience Mini and BMWs firsthand.

More Attractive & Refreshed BMW X7

The company brings a new style, updated engine, more attractive interiors, and new drive systems in the refreshed X7 version. This model features an entirely redesigned nose with a separate headlamp design. BMW offers the latest curved infotainment screen containing a 14.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

Moreover, the 40i features a 380hp with an inline 6-cylinder petrol engine. But the diesel version features a 352hp inline 6-cylinder diesel engine. Both engines get an electric boost of 12hp and 200Nm and are also connected with 48V mild-hybrid tech.

The Latest Gran Limo BMW 3 Series

The 3 Series Gran Limo was apparently a slow contributor but is currently one of the best sellers of BMW. A modified cabin, a newly redesigned face, and electrified engines are expected with the upgrade from the automaker. The upfront is a new look BMW kidney grille and the new sharp cut front bumper.

The latest model also has more striking and updated LED headlights with blue wording. Other inside upgrades include a new leather-covered dashboard and BMW’s curved display. The waterfall effect dispensed mood lighting offers a perfectly eminent look. However, the masses of legroom and rear space will attract more Indian customers.

New X1 Version from BMW

BMW is scheduled to launch its bestsellers all-new X1 in India at the Bengaluru Joytown festival. However, the baby X5 has a more square and standup design with a flatter bonnet and a taller grille. But the new X1 now features a larger 4,500mm length and is longer than the Audi Q3’s 4,484mm design. The codename U11 is mentioned underneath the new BMW X1.

The latest version features BMW and Mini’s front-wheel drive FAAR platform. This advanced platform is simple to configure as a full EV. The vehicle has a remarkably upmarket-looking cabin featuring much better materials and a more attractive wider design. The new X1 gets a frameless curved display to improve the cabin look and chrome framed vents in the sloping dashboard.

More Advanced New 7 Series & i7

The more advanced 7th Generation 7 Series is an excellent invention for BMW. This version features extraordinarily luxurious, tech-laden BMW, and is considered the most powerful S-Class model competitor ever. It has a long flat bonnet, a new & attractive detached headlamp, and a more radical & fresh interior. There are crystal-like effects on the flashy strip running throughout the dashboard.

The new model features touchscreen controls on rear door pads that highlights the new 7. However, the interior includes a roof-mounted 31.3-inch, 8K cinema screen that can flip down with a single touch. The new i7 sedan is an all-electric and CLAR architecture of the 7 Series. The vehicle gets a range of 590-625km on the WLTP test cycle with approximately 101kWh battery.
