After waiting for months, Tesla has finally announced the production line of its first Model 3. The CEO Elon Musk has announced that the first production unit is now ready for a final checkout. Point to be noted that Musk will get the first manufactured car, as he did with earlier models of Tesla while Ira Ehrenpreis was the first to submit a full deposit. But, he offered the spot to Musk as a birthday present. It might be safe to say that either be a part of an exclusive club given that 30 Model 3s will be reached to its buyers till the end of current month July 2017. It is still early to mention that how much has changed in the Model 3 since it was announced in the year 2016.
You might not get entire details until handover party scheduled for 28th July 2017. It is important that Elon Musk has already pointed out that there might not be any major changes against the announced prototype revealed in the month of March 2017. The last few months have massively been spent testing and tweaking various components to confirm the Model 3 is now ready for the road journey. It was a huge symbolic announcement due to most pre-order customers of Model 3 will not be able to get their vehicles until 2018. The production is just scheduled to ramp up 20 thousand vehicles per month by December 2017. It would hardly put a setback in the hundreds of thousands of pre-orders received since last spring.
