Honda has announced Electric Motorcycle and ScooterThe electric vehicles EVs have shown their attraction among the people. There are a number of automakers showing their potential in manufacturing EVs. Honda has also shown its association for electric cars, but what about the electric motorcycle and scooters? Now you’ll get your desired one. The auto-manufacturer has announced prototypes for both the CR Electric dirt bike and the Benly Electric delivery scooter.

The company is offering a peek at how it will approach emissions-free transportation on two wheels. Honda didn’t mention about the specs, but the CR Electric appears based on the CRF450. It uses a Mugen-developed motor along with Showa inverted forks. Meanwhile, the Benly Electric borrows the batteries from the bigger and extremely limited PCX Electric maxi scooter in an otherwise very similar version of the delivery vehicle.

The power packs are easy to swap for couriers who can’t wait for a recharge. These are very early machines and you’re not as likely to buy them yourself given that they’re specialized models rather than street bikes. They are mentioning Honda’s increased interest in electric motorbikes. It would also give existing e-motorbike producers a significant amount of intense competition.
