On Wednesday, Apple has announced the company will conduct its first 2022 event on Tuesday, 8th March at 10 am. The event is scheduled to take place in the Apple Park campus at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California.

Apple’s first event of 2022 seems very similar to its 2021 event with digital-only gatherings. However, members of the media didn’t receive an invitation to attend in person because of the health issues and the Covid-19 pandemic.

Most of us have already discovered a few leaks and rumors about expectations at Apple’s March 8 event. The company is supposed to present the next-Generation devices.

New expected Apple Devices at the 2022 Event

Apple is expected to release new versions of the iPhone SE, a refreshed iPad Air, and one Mac with the silicon chip. Rumors earlier predicted the news devices to be a Mac mini and a 13-inch MacBook Pro, but a leak suggested both versions.

Moreover, Cnet also reported that a final date for Apple’s 2022 event is set for Tuesday, March 8 at 10 a.m. PT. The news outlet also indicated that rumors suggested Apple could announce an advanced version of the iPhone SE at the event. Rumors also indicated a refresh version of the iPad and Mac mini devices.

Apple is expected to present new devices with a live stream on its website in a completely virtual event. The company has confirmed that the 2022 event is scheduled to broadcast from the Steve Jobs Theater. It is located at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.

Digital-only Event 2022 due to Covid-19

The point to be noted is that the company has been continuously hosting online-only events since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Apple has announced the event after the weakening of the omicron variant infections.

Apple delivered the invitation in an email to the media community. It shows a rainbow logo of Apple providing an impression of moving across a dark background. The tagline clearly shows, ‘Peek Performance’.

However, the company didn’t mention which products were being announced at the event. But it has included a hint of augmented reality effects on its marketing page which provides specific considerations.

Apple CEO Tim Cook delivered his words during a conference call in January. He said the satisfaction of customers is off the charts. Our new technologies are effectively attracting and bringing more customers to join us.

Virtual Events increased Profit & Demand

The upcoming event marks another climax for Apple and aims to keep on track with its advanced product launch. The company often conducts events in fall, spring, and summer. Apple transformed its Worldwide Developers Conference into a virtual event in June 2020.

Apple conducted a 2020 virtual event by presenting efficiently edited videos and replacing its live presentations. However, this technique worked well because the company experienced a remarkable record in sales and profits.

The tech giant has indicated that customers have responded well to 5G wireless Internet upgrading in its iPhones during the last 2 years. Apple also confirmed that demand for its new chips has continuously outpaced supply with over $12 billion demand last year. The company designs micro-processing chips for its Mac computers and iPads.

The company is also expected to detail iOS 15.4 software and a free upgrade for the latest iPads and iPhones. However, Apple has already revealed about developing its new Face ID unlock features compatible with medical masks.
