Apple’s first event of 2022 seems very similar to its 2021 event with digital-only gatherings. However, members of the media didn’t receive an invitation to attend in person because of the health issues and the Covid-19 pandemic.

Apple is expected to present new devices with a live stream on its website in a completely virtual event. The company has confirmed that the 2022 event is scheduled to broadcast from the Steve Jobs Theater. It is located at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.
Digital-only Event 2022 due to Covid-19
The point to be noted is that the company has been continuously hosting online-only events since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Apple has announced the event after the weakening of the omicron variant infections.
Apple delivered the invitation in an email to the media community. It shows a rainbow logo of Apple providing an impression of moving across a dark background. The tagline clearly shows, ‘Peek Performance’.
However, the company didn’t mention which products were being announced at the event. But it has included a hint of augmented reality effects on its marketing page which provides specific considerations.

The upcoming event marks another climax for Apple and aims to keep on track with its advanced product launch. The company often conducts events in fall, spring, and summer. Apple transformed its Worldwide Developers Conference into a virtual event in June 2020.

The company is also expected to detail iOS 15.4 software and a free upgrade for the latest iPads and iPhones. However, Apple has already revealed about developing its new Face ID unlock features compatible with medical masks.
