A leak has suggested that Samsung is working on a new cheaper phone with a bigger 7,000mAh battery. The new massive battery has crossed the capacity offered on any other smartphone. The new device is expected to launch around Christmas Eve. The new phone might be called the Samsung Galaxy M12, or the Galaxy F12. It would make it a follow-up to the M11 budget smartphone and released in the UK in October. The leak also provided a series of images supposedly showing the backside of the phone. There might be a quad rear camera block or triple rear camera and a flash. Point to be noted that the powerful 7,000mAh battery is the most attractive addition to the Galaxy M12.
Samsung Galaxy M11 has a 5,000mAh battery and it is a much similar size the company offered in the Galaxy M51 smartphone. The leak also claimed a 6.7-inch display and a triple rear camera panel including 48MP + 8MP + 5MP as well as a 16MP selfie camera. The device will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 9 Octa 9611 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. These leaked specs for Samsung Galaxy M12 easily cross the specs offered for M11, a 6.4-inch display, Snapdragon 450 chipset, triple rear camera including 13MP + 5MP + 2MP with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage. Samsung has reportedly focused on presenting budget phones with bigger batteries.
There are various companies looking to expand their battery capacity on some more affordable smartphones to stand out from the competition. It is noteworthy that battery life is usually one of the major concerns, but the new addition is perfect and more functional. The Moto G series from Motorola could be a good comparison with the latest Moto G8 Power with its 5,000mAh capacity. The device is also known as the Moto G Power in the United States. At least for now, Samsung Galaxy M12 with a bigger 7,000mAh battery would blow the competition. The leak also predicted the launch date for Galaxy M12 near New Year Eve.
