The OnePlus 6 was expressed during the start of the current year as a “major step closer to the perfect smart-phone”, but without having a micro-SD slot and wireless charging. The company could make up for those missing features by providing the handset in the much better finish than presented earlier. Now, the company has announced the OnePlus 6 Red. The company presented a handset earlier this year similar to the OnePlus6 Red, but now it has a new finish. The CEO of the company, Pete Lau disclosed the new smart-phone on the OnePlus forum. Lau said that the new style shows personality and devotion including the inner confidence and braveness. He added that the new handset well designed with a new film coating process and it was never used before on a smart-phone.
Lau further added that this new process was efficiently designed for a more reliable and amazing red glossy-brightness and it was expected to past couple of years to come. The strategy of OnePlus was in making possibly inexpensive handsets with a little number of external variations in its hardware. The company also said that the limited edition OnePlus 5T in Lava Red was sold out very quickly and it increased demand for similar devices. The OnePlus 6 Red will be launched next week across the world. The device will have 128GB storage and 8GB RAM. Its price will be the same as similar to the black model, $579 / €569 / £519. The company hasn’t yet mentioned that the new handset is a limited edition, but indicated that it will be sold out on a regular basis as the smart-phone of the company.
