Motorola has now announced the standard Moto G8. Last year, the company launched the G8 Play and G8 Plus. The new Moto G8 Standard has a versatile AI camera system. It has the ability to take sharp photos in low light using the 16MP fast-focusing main camera. The new smartphone also has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an 119-degree field of view lens and a 2-megapixel Macro Vision camera. You can squeeze all the action at a sporting event into one shot and can fit 4X more in your frame using the ultra-wide-angle lens. The dedicated Macro Vision camera enables you to get 5X closer to your subject than a normal lens.
The new Moto G8 Standard also has an 8-megapixel camera on the front of the phone that’s cut out from the phone’s 6.4-inch HD+ Max Vision display. The smartphone features a Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 4000mAh battery. Moto G8 is designed to go up to 40 hours on a single charge. So you don’t need a backup charger at home. This new smartphone also provides the ultimate on-the-go entertainment experience. Moreover, the spec sheet of Motorola shows the G8 ships with a 10W charger inside the box. The G8 Standard will give you 64GB of storage, with expandable SD card support up to 512GB for all your favorite apps, music, movies and photos.
The G8 standard smartphone comes with exclusive Moto Experiences and with new Moto Gametime. The device comes with a water-repellent4 design that keeps your phone protected inside and out, and is powered by a bloatware-free and ultra-clean version of Android™ 10. The Moto G8’s specs fit in neatly between the G8 Play and G8 Plus. It doesn’t have all the megapixels of the Plus model, but the addition of a macro camera over the Play’s depth sensor is a nice touch. Moto G8 Standard is now available in Brazil for 1,299 Reals ($280). It will be presented in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Australia during the coming weeks.
