Apple has planned a massive change in its flagship smartphones and decided to launch the iPhone 12 series during summer 2020. The iPhone 11 series was focused on empowering its camera and increasing the power inside. These upgrades were found in the iPhone XS series smartphones. Apple earlier this year announced a cheaper device and named it the iPhone SE. But, some leaks have indicated the company will bring a new flagship series in recent years. The iPhone 12 will have a new and elegant design, 5G-connectivity, and much more. Point to be noted that there isn’t yet any official iPhone 12 release date information.
A rumor has indicated the release date of the iPhone 12 during the first half of September 2020. There’s a chance that the Covid-19 pandemic’s impact on the production of the next iPhone may push things back. But, its development would be unaffected because the main manufacturing factories are fully staffed up. The new device will be available in 4 sizes including, iPhone 12 with a 5.4-inch display, iPhone 12 with a 6.1-inch display, iPhone 12 Pro with a 6.1-inch display, and iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch display. If we talk about the price of the iPhone 12, it’s likely to stay broadly in line with the current models.
It is noteworthy that the iPhone 11 started at $699, the iPhone 11 Pro at $999, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max started at $1,099. That’s backed up by rumors too, with a leak suggesting that the iPhone 12 Pro will start at $999, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will start at $1,099. Moreover, things are a bit different at the bottom of the range, with the most direct iPhone 11 successor (the 6.1-inch iPhone 12) apparently starting at $749 – so $50 more than the iPhone 11. But then there’s also said to be a new 5.4-inch iPhone 12 model that will start at $649 – so $50 less than the iPhone 11.
