Get New Vivo Standard X60 and X60 Pro Smartphones on 8th January 2021

Get New Vivo Standard X60 and X69 Pro Smartphones on 8th January 2021Vivo has announced its next flagship smartphone, the Vivo X60. The new device will have some pretty premium-looking specs and features. The recent announcement came at an event on 29th December. Point to be noted that it was a China-only launch and we are waiting on a worldwide Vivo X60 release date. The company has actually launched 3 models of Vivo X60 smartphones. The Standard and Pro models of Vivo X60 were announced at the 29th December event, but the Vivo X60 Pro Plus is due to get its own event at the end of January 2021. The Vivo X60 and X60 Pro will go on sale in China on 8th January, but you should wait for a global launch.

You can buy the new Standard Vivo X60 in 3 versions; one with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage at around $540 (CNY 3,498), the 2nd version will have 8GB RAM and 256GB storage at around $580 (CNY 3,798), and the 3rd version with a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage at around $610 (CNY 3,998). The Vivo X60 Pro model features 12GB RAM and 256GB storage at around $690 (CNY 4,498). It is noteworthy that the Vivo X60 looks very similar to the Vivo X51, its predecessor, particularly on the back with an identical rectangular camera bump dominated by the large main snapper. The major design difference is on the front, as the front-facing camera has a punch-hole cut-out in the front screen.

Vivo claims that the X60 is the thinnest 5G phone ever, at least at the time of release, with just a 7.36mm thick body. The Vivo X60 comes in 3 colors including Black, White, and a two-tone blue. The Vivo X60 Pro is also available in all those shades to save white. The screen is 6.56 inches across and it uses AMOLED technology similar to many top-end devices. The Vivo X60 has 3 rear cameras including a 48MP f/1.48 main, 13MP ultra-wide, and 13MP Portrait (2x zoom) snapper. The X60 Pro has the same with an additional 8MP periscope snapper with 5x optical zoom. The Vivo X60 features a Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset for both the Standard and the Pro models. The Vivo X60 has a 4,300mAh battery, but that goes down to 4,200mAh for the Pro model.
