Realme has announced 2 new smartphones with better specs and affordable prices. The new devices are the Realme 7 and 7 Pro. These 2 new phones compete mainly with the Xiaomi Redmi and Moto G ranges of smartphones. The Realme 7 has a 6.5-inch FHD+ display and 90Hz refresh rate to make motion displayed look smooth. There’s also a punch-hole cutout in the top left of the screen. The phone has 4 rear cameras including a 48MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP black-and-white snapper. The Realme 7 uses the world’s first MediaTek Helio G95 Gaming Processor. It offers a 90Hz Ultra Smooth Display and a 48MP AI Quad Camera with 16MP in-display selfie camera. Point to be noted that the MediaTek Helio P95 chipset is a mid-range processor optimized for gaming.
The Standard Realme 7 comes with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM. There’s also a 5,000mAh battery which can be charged up at 30W. The company claims this will power up the phone to full in 65 minutes with 30W Dart Charge and provides more than a month of standby time. The Realme 7 Pro is slightly more Premium than the standard Realme 7. It has a 6.4-inch screen and uses Super AMOLED tech for punchier colors. It’s also got a 60Hz refresh rate, which is lower than the 90Hz of the standard Realme 7. The Realme 7 Pro has a slightly upgraded camera array with a 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP black-and-white snapper. There’s also a 32MP selfie camera on the front.
The Realme 7 Pro uses a Snapdragon 720G chipset and comes with 8GB of RAM. The battery is 4,500mAh and it supports speedy 65W charging. Realme claims the device will fully charge the phone in just 34 minutes. The new Realme 65W Charging Evolution with its 65W SuperDart Charge can charge the 7 Pro to 100% in just 34 minutes. Realme 7 will be available for sale on 21st October with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage starts around $210, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage at $235, and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage at $293. The Realme 7 Pro will be available on 13th October with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage at $352. The company will make availability of these smartphones in the US and Australian markets very soon.
