Razer has announced a new laptop for business and productivity, the Razer Book 13 at a starting price of $1,599. The company is well known for its PCs and gaming accessories. The new device doesn’t look much different from Razer’s 13-inch gaming laptop, the Blade Stealth 13. The new laptop has a similar Razer logo on the cover, a similar keyboard with RGB lights on each key, and a similar compact and minimal build. But, the company has made a few changes that could make the Razer Book a better choice for school or office work. The one we’re most excited about is the 16:10 display, which adds a bit of extra vertical space compared to the Blade Stealth and many other mainstream laptops. The book is also a little smaller than the blade.
There are a number of ports that can come in handy in a desktop setup, including a microSD card reader, an HDMI 2.0 port, two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4, a USB 3.2 Type-A, and a headphone jack. And, of course, the book includes integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, instead of a discrete GPU. All three Book models are certified through the Intel Evo program. Intel ensures that a laptop is ideal for everyday tasks by awarding an Evo badge. The Evo Seal could be a sign that the Razer Book will excel in areas where gaming laptops aren’t known to be great, such as battery life and charging speed. The base model comes with a 1920 x 1200 display, a Core i5-1135G7 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
You can upgrade to a Core i7-1165G7, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 1920 x 1200 UHD touch screen for $1,999.99. Razer recently announced 2 new products that they’re launching. First, Razer Book 13 is a new productivity laptop for individuals who need to get stuff done, but don’t need to game. The 13.4” display is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics with prices starting at $1,199.99. The keyboard features Razer Chroma-powered per-key RGB backlights and for inputs. There are 2 Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports to serve your charging port, a 3.5mm combo-jack for audio, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a USB-A 3.2 port.
