Most people believe that 5G has a complete standard for various companies in rolling out new devices. Now, Sprint and LG have announced that they are looking bringing the first 5G smartphone during the first half of 2019 in the United States. They didn’t provide more details about new devices and their exact timing to launch these devices, but both companies are dedicated and working hard on this project. The CTO of Spring, Dr. John Saw issued a statement that Sprint is currently moving fast in bringing 5G and they are excited to announce the first 5G smartphone with the motivated team at LG. it is important that LG has done extraordinary work in developing technical designs and will enable Sprint to be the first one in 5G mobile.
The recent announcement brings Sprint one steps closer in putting a beautifully-designed advanced 5G smartphone in the hands of our customers. Sprint already plans to launch a 5G network in at least 6 cities during the current year. At least 3 more cities will be added in 2019, so there will be total 9 cities including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New York City, Phoenix and Washington, DC. Sprint also indicated that the MIMO (Multi-In, Multi-Out) technology is behind the speed boost for 5G and it will provide networks more than 10-times the capacity of current LTE technology.
