All the above features are a major advancement of its previous model EOS 5D Mark III, which is considered one of the most esteemed DSLRs.
The Canon’s trademark Dual Pixel CMOS AF boasts by the 5D Mark IV and it has the ability in making easier to track subjects during your video shooting, which is similar to the 70D Mark II and newly invented 80D. It is important that Mark IV has the ability to capture 4K at DCI resolution with 4,096 x 2,160, instead of the UHD cameras such as Nikon’s D5 at 3,840 x 2,160.
The amazing feature is its touch-screen and it offers a full interface which is not bound to video use only. The continuous mode of shooting is set at 7 frames/ sec up from 6 frames/ sec in the 5D Mark III. The camera is compatible with both SD Cards and Compact-Flash. Canon has upgraded its new version with better weather resistance on the 5D Mark IV such as protection from dust and water. We hope that it would be available at the start of September 2016 at an estimated price of $3,500 (body only).
