Apple announced the iPad Air 4 in September 2020 but didn’t mention its launch date. There were rumors suggesting the exact launch date for iPad Air 4, as one said on 13th October. Our reliable sources have confirmed that the company is looking to release the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone 12 Pro devices on 23rd October and pre-orders from 16th October 2020. This 2020 model in the line, the iPad Air 4 was presented at Apple’s September event alongside the entry-level iPad 10.2, the Apple Watch 6, and Apple Watch SE. It was considered the most premium device announced at the event. This is the 4th generation of mid-range iPad Air range from Apple.
It is noteworthy that Best Buy Canada has listed 23rd October as the release date for iPad Air 4. The iPad Air 3 was just a bigger version of the entry-level iPad in many ways. The iPad Air 4 has loaded in common with the iPad Pro 2020 models. The new iPad Air will be available to buy before the end of October 2020. The iPad Air 4 features LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi, and the price starts at $599 for both 64GB and 256GB with a little-jump in price. Point to be noted that the iPad Air 3 was started at $499 for a version with 64GB storage and $649 for 256GB. The price increased $130 for each for the LTE version, but not for Wi-Fi. The iPad Air has a flat edge, an all-screen display, a single rear camera, and some subtle edge buttons.
The screen uses Apple Liquid Retina display tech because it is a fancy form of LCD. The device has a resolution of 2360 x 1640 and it’s 10.9 inches across but isn’t much bigger than the iPad Pro models. There are a number of features that improve the visuals, such as Apple’s True Tone display tech. The iPad Air 4 is considered the 1st Apple tablet with a fingerprint sensor built into a button on the side. The other slates from the company have had fingerprint sensors built into the home button on the front. There’s a USB-C port similar to the iPad Pro models. The iPad Air 4 works with the Magic Keyboard and the second-generation Apple Pencil. The new device has the first 5nm A14 Bionic chipset, a 7MP f/2.2 front-facing camera, and a 12MP f/1.8 rear camera.
