A stylish smart-phone launched by John Sculley, former CEO of Apple. This new smart-phone is lower in price and different in design compared to most of the existing smart-phones in the market. John Sculley is co-founder of Obi World-phone, Sculley (former CEO of Apple) and Robert Brunner (Ammunition design founder) has introduced a mid-level, unique and an inexpensive smart-phone. The new smart-phone introduced by World-phone has two models, SF1 and SJ 1.5; both models are available in the market in the month of October 2015 at the price of 199 and 129 U.S dollars respectively. The World-phone is basically targeting younger age buyers from Asia, Middle East and African markets.
These new smart-phones have the components of MediaTek and Qulacomm processors, Corning Gorilla Glass, Dolby sound and Sony camera, but its look is much same as skinned version of Android. The Obi World-phones needs to make a challenging contest against Samsung, HTCs and Apple smart-phones in the markets. The company knows the abilities, their traditions and weaknesses of these larger companies. Most of the larger companies’ move slower in the markets but Obi World-phones Company is a fresh company, which has the capability to repeat designs very quickly and change components in order to serve at best level to its audience. The SF1 with 4G/LTE sports has armored fiberglass body and has a 5 inch screen display with front and rear camera. It has a Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage with estimated price of 199 U.S dollar, but SJ 1.5 has the change with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage with estimate price of 249 U.S dollars.
