Sony launched PlayStation 4 in 2013 in the United States and sold at least 73.6 million at the end of 2017. The company has been struggling before its release and the console has been considered a major part of successful launch by the former CEO of Sony, Kaz Hirai.

Other amazing features include a matching translucent box, etched copper plate with the serial number of the console, and a blue velvet bag. The first PS4 Pro comes with a 2TB hard drive and a matching gold wireless headset also offered by the company at an extra 100 U.S dollars. Users can also buy the 500 Million Limited Edition Dual-Shock 4 separately at 65 U.S dollars. Sony also indicated that specific Extra Special units will also be provided to lucky buyers with serial numbers, such as 09995 and 01013 (represents 13th October 2016 release date of PS VR in the U.S). It is important that only 50,000 units of 500 Million Limited Edition PS4 Pro will be sold worldwide. It will be available on 24th August at retailers at a price of 500 U.S dollars.
