Volvo has finally pulled back decoration on its latest crossover for all-new XC40. The new stylish crossover has most essential components you might expect from an advanced Volvo. The new model will have entire active and passive equipments under its amazing, sporty and handsome skin. The company has announced 2 gasoline power-trains, but a hybrid and full electric version might be presented after it. Volvo is presenting a wide range of interior and exterior colors, including a 2-tone roof. There will be 17-color combinations for bodywork and the roof. The overall design is compact and sportier version as you had seen on the XC60 an XC90 versions. Moreover, the interior is much similar to a miniaturized version of larger models of Volvo.
It might use lower-grade materials, but its bold design and color options carry over from the exterior. One model with red carpeting and black leather looks more attractive and elegant. The center stack features Volvo’s rapid and clean infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car-Play, including a bin below with Qi wireless charging. It also has a panoramic sunroof. The new XC40 comes with standard City Safety and it includes vehicle, cyclist, pedestrian, and large-animal detection with automatic emergency brake system. Some other features include Run-off Road protection & mitigation, Pilot Assist, 360-degree camera, and Cross Traffic alert system. The XC40 will come in a T5 Momentum all-wheel drive variant. Its expected price will be at $35,200 with a turbocharged inline-four. Its front-wheel drive model will be available at the showrooms in the last quarter of 2018 at an estimated price of $33,200.
