A new enterprise service has launched by Google for large businesses wishing to use Chrome OS. The Chrome Enterprise is offering a number of attractive features, including deep security controls, access to enterprise app storefronts, 24/7 support, on-premise management tools, integration with cloud, Microsoft Active Directory, and VMware Workspace ONE. The subjected price for Chrome Enterprise subscription is at 50 U.S dollars per year for one device. It is now fully compatible with on-premise infrastructure using Microsoft Active Directory. The perfect integration will allow employees to use their primary credentials to validate across multiple devices and Google Cloud Services, such as Google Play.
The Chrome Enterprise compatibility with VMware Workspace ONE would allow organizations to forward device policies using modular assignment of groups based on geography, department, role, device platform and more simplifying policy application across the organization. The IT admin will also be able in providing access to employees for entire enterprise applications, including web, native, cloud, virtual Windows, and Android. It can be done using a single app catalog to deliver a reliable experience to employees anytime, anywhere, and on any device. Chrome users will also be able to access entire Windows desktops and applications. It would provide a significant amount of help to accelerate the implementation of Chrome devices in the enterprise.
